The location was perfect for taking walks to nearby parks like trout park nature preserve, which is just a 5-minute walk, and exploring the fascinating artifacts at the elgin public museum only a short drive away. i loved how easy it was to soak up both nature and history during my stay.

Comfortable stay with friendly staff
I stayed for three nights in a King Room and found the bed comfortable with clean bedding. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot items. The pool was also nice and well-maintained. However, I think the bathroom cleanliness could use some improvement.

The King Room was decent with air conditioning and a clean shower but had some dated furniture. The coffee machine was handy, and there’s a minibar too. Staff was super friendly and check-in was quick. The breakfast had some hot items but could’ve been better. I loved the pool, it was well-kept and refreshing.

Terrible experience
The bed was super gross with stains and hair. We had bugs in the shower! Plus, the ac was blowing right on us all night. We even asked for clean pillowcases and never got them. The breakfast was okay, but I’m never returning to a place like this. Honestly, for the price, it should’ve been way better.
